Returns
As per the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000, Ludeco Lighting offer all their customers a cooling off period. Unlike other online stores though, instead of the statutory 7 working days, we are so sure you will love the Ludeco system we offer a full 30 days!
If you wish to return goods to us during this time or for any other reason, please ring us on 0208 326 0142 or contact us by email sales@ludeco-lighting.com . Please note all goods need to be unused and in perfect condition, unless reason for return is to replace a faulty item. Please note that we do not accept back for credit any component product out of our kits. This is due to them already being discounted.
It will be your responsibility to return the goods to us at your own cost and risk. Official Returns Authorisation must be issued by us before you send goods back. Please make sure a copy of your original purchase invoice is included with the return.
Once your goods have been returned and inspected you will be sent a full refund (please note we do not refund postage or carriage costs) within 5 working days. If you are returning goods that need replacement due to the items being faulty, we will try to get a replacement in the post the same day (depending on stock).
Delivery
Delivery will normally be no more than 5 working days from receipt of order and payment. 98% of orders are sent out the same day if the order is received up to our 2pm cut-off time, stock depending. Orders received after this time will be handled the day after. We offer a number of different delivery options to cater for everyone's requirements: Royal Mail (2-3 days), Standard Delivery (3-4 Days), Next Working Day & Saturday. Orders over £75 qualify for free standard delivery for majority of mainland UK, any order under this will incur a carriage charge with the price depending on the service you have selected. Royal Mail is 2nd class and is not guaranteed delivery, this option is selected at the customers own risk. If an item is to go missing via Royal Mail, Ludeco Lighting can't be held responsible.
Damages
We make every effort to make sure all orders are packaged up well for shipping via our courier. It is regrettable that occasionally things may get damaged in transit despite our best efforts in packaging. When you receive your order please carefully check all items for damage/breakages with accuracy and notify us within 5 days of receiving the delivery, even if you have ordered ahead of time and do not plan to install them soon. Regrettably any claims after this time may not be processed.
Warranty
The Ludeco lighting system comes with a 2 year warranty providing a complete Ludeco system is used i.e Ludeco transformer, cables and switches (if applicable). As not all LED drivers and transformers perform the same way, we cannot do anything regarding fittings failures if a complete Ludeco system is not used. The client may have to provide evidence that all components are Ludeco and a sales invoice will be needed to start a warranty claim.
Product/batch details are normally included on the silver label on each fitting, therefore the warranty will be void if this label is removed.
We will require any faulty items are sent back to us in year two for test/repair. The cost to return the product will be at the customers expense. Please do not remove the silver identifying label off the fitting as this contains important manufacturing information needed in the case of a warranty claim. In the first year we will post out a replacement. Please allow 5-7 days for any agreed replacement item to arrive.
